You found the Gateway To Outside. It is an Eye who asks you to stay and help around. You don't have to help around but it thinks that you will. it knows more about you then you think.

The People who come to the Gateway are unhappy. They come to get sent to somewhere they would be happier, but sometimes the Eye says more than it should. That ruins the Mood of the people who come, but maybe that is why you are here. You can reach the Correct End after all. and the Eye knows it. 

You can press R to speed up through things and H for the History. It is a bit weird but mostly functions.
